HOW TO CLEAN & DEODORIZE YOUR WHITE APPLE WATCH BANDS?

If you buy a third party leather apple watch band, kindly check with the retailer or manufacturer if they need special care or maintain before you clean it.

Usually, a white genuine leather iwatch band can be cleaned per below steps:

1, Remove the white leather band from your Apple watch.

2, Use a clean dry cloth to wipe the dirt on the leather strap surface.

3, Prepare a mixture of white vinegar and warm water, one part to three, agitate the mixture until well mixed.

4, Apply little vinegar water to a clean soft cloth, clean the leather strap surface gently and completely.

5, Add mild dish soap to warm water, stir it until you see bubbles.

6, Dip new clean cloth to the soapy water, wipe the leather band to remove any stain, dirt or dust.

7, Lay the strap flat and air dry the leather band completely.

When you caught the unpleasant smell from your sport band, loop or leather band, it is time to deodorize the band now!

Usually an intense clean and dry can eliminate most apple watch bands smells but here is a simple way to deodorize a cloth or leather watchband, though, without even wetting the surface.

Step 1， Sprinkle some baking soda in a small plastic bag. Make sure the bag has a seal or can easily be sealed with a knot or twist-tie.

Step 2，Place the watchband into the bag and seal the bag. Leave the watchband in the bag overnight. Baking soda is often used when cleaning laundry to neutralize pH and remove unwanted smells.

Step 3，Remove the watchband from the bag and smell it. If the wristband still has an offensive odor, it may need to sit in the bag for another night. For cloth watchbands, if the odor is extreme, throw the band into the washing machine or soak it in warm water and detergent. Perform Steps 1 and 2 for deodorizing between washings. For extreme-smelling leather watchbands, proceed to Step 4.

Step 4，Mix together equal amounts of distilled vinegar and linseed oil. Using a lint-free cloth, rub the mixture into the leather, then buff with a clean, dry cloth. This will clean the leather. Repeat Steps 1 and 2 for deodorizing in between cleanings.
